The Golf Club
A fairly level but quite demanding course. Built in 2010 it is maturing nicely as each growing season progresses. Probably best described as a well-kept parkland course with various water features and lakes. A recent addition is the back nine tees to add a bit of variety. There are also 9 new competition tees ready for this spring – adding a real new dimension and challenge.
Members continue to enjoy various competitions and not just from golfing perspective! This family run business offers a warm welcome to golfers of all abilities and still embraces the Pay and Play philosophy with which it started, to encourage the beginners in the sport.
We pride ourselves on providing good value for money golf in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. All ages and standards welcome. We provide practice nets, a 9 hole putting green and a chipping area. We also have a large open-air driving range (with exceptional views all around).
A good club for beginners in the sport to obtain their CONGU Handicap. The course has a variety of golfing challenges that do not necessarily require big hitting to score well and often proves tougher than it looks. The club’s continual investment in its playing surfaces is showing improved results. During the year we frequently hold varied members competitions and run several friendly social golf events.
Throughout the week it is normally possible to turn up and play within a few minutes. With ample car parking available, a lovely clubhouse and refreshment area, open to all, why not come and see what this club is all about?
